Ingredients

  • 1 lb Linguine
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups Clam juice
  • 2 lbs Fresh clams, scrubbed
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add clam juice and bring to a simmer. Add clams, cover, and cook until clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any that do not open.
  4. 4. Toss linguine with the clam sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.
