Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 Large russet potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 Large onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Kale chopped
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
  3. 3. Add the chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. 4. Add the sausage, kale, and heavy cream. Simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
