Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups Carrots sliced
  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Celery sliced
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Green beans cut into pieces
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz can
  • 6 cups Beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat until it's no longer pink.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onions and cook until they are translucent.
  3. 3. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Add the carrots, potatoes, celery, green beans, and diced tomatoes.
  5. 5. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and basil.
  6. 6. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well blended.
  7. 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
