Instructions
1. In a large pot, brown the beef stew meat over medium heat until it's no longer pink.
2. Add the chopped onions and cook until they are translucent.
3. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
4. Add the carrots, potatoes, celery, green beans, and diced tomatoes.
5. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and basil.
6. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well blended.
