- 2 lbs Tri-Tip Roast trimmed
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Rub the tri-tip roast with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Place the roast in a roasting pan and put it in the oven.
Roast for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
