Tomatillo Salsa Verde Recipe

- 1 pound Tomatillos husked and rinsed
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 cup Cilantro chopped
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 unit Jalapeño optional, chopped
1. Boil the tomatillos in a saucepan for about 5 minutes until they soften.
2. Drain the tomatillos and place them in a blender.
3. Add the onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and jalapeño (if using) to the blender.
4. Blend until smooth.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
6. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
