Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Water
  • 12 Strawberries or any other fruit

Instructions 

  1. 1. Wash and dry the strawberries. Skewer them onto the sticks.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. 3. Continue to cook the sugar mixture until it reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. 4. Quickly dip each skewered strawberry into the hot sugar syrup, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. 5. Place the coated strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool and harden.
