  • 2 cups Strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Strain the mixture through a strainer into a jar, pressing down on the strawberries to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Let the syrup cool before serving. Store in the refrigerator.
