Main Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 0.5 cup diced onions
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Place chicken, carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, and chicken broth in the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
In a small bowl, whisk together heavy cream and flour until smooth.
Stir the cream mixture, peas, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper into the slow cooker.
Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until the stew thickens.
