Shortcake Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Butter Cold, cut into small pieces
- ⅔ cup Milk
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in milk just until the dough comes together.
Drop dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
