Mexican Steak Torta Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Skirt Steak thinly sliced
- 4 Bolillo Rolls split
- 1 Avocado sliced
- 1 cup Refried Beans
- 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
- 1 Tomato sliced
- ½ cup Queso Fresco crumbled
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Butter softened
1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Season the skirt steak with salt and pepper. Grill or cook in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
3. Spread butter on the cut sides of the bolillo rolls and toast on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
4. Spread a layer of refried beans on the bottom half of each roll. Top with sliced steak, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and queso fresco.
5. Spread mayonnaise on the top half of each roll and place on top of the sandwich. Serve immediately.
