Ingredients 

Soup Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups Diced Potatoes
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Dumpling Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  2. 2. Add chicken broth and diced potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, eggs, milk, and salt to make the dumpling dough.
  4. 4. Drop spoonfuls of dumpling dough into the simmering soup. Cook until dumplings float to the top and are cooked through.
  5. 5. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
