Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. 2. Add onions and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in carrots and celery, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, peas, corn, basil, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  6. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
