Main Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 500 g Ground Beef
- 2 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 400 g Canned Tomatoes
- 400 g Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
Stir in the chili powder, ground cumin, and paprika, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add the canned tomatoes, kidney beans, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
