Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe

Marinade
- 1 cup Yogurt plain
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 2 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
- 1 lb Chicken Breast cut into cubes
Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
- 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 can Tomato Sauce 15 oz
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Cilantro chopped
In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, ground cumin, and ground coriander. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
Add turmeric, cumin, paprika, and garam masala. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and cook until sauce thickens.
In a separate pan, cook marinated chicken until fully cooked. Add cooked chicken to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
