Chicken and Wild Rice Soup Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup wild rice
- 1 pound chicken breast diced
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- to taste salt and pepper
1. Cook wild rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
2. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender.
4. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Stir in cooked wild rice, browned chicken, and heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
