  • 2 large Onions sliced into rings
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Beer
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the beer, whisking until smooth.
  3. Dip onion rings into the batter, then carefully place them into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
