Bananas Foster Recipe
A classic New Orleans dessert made with bananas, rum, and a buttery brown sugar sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 4 bananas sliced lengthwise
- ¼ cup butter unsalted
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup dark rum
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream for serving
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until sugar dissolves.
Add bananas and cook until tender, about 2 minutes per side.
Remove skillet from heat and add rum. Carefully ignite the rum with a long lighter. Allow the flames to subside.
Serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
